Gilbert , congratulations. You seem to be on top of the world and definitely creating a buzz. I like the new paintings. Its almost of a breakdown of all complex visual emotions into simple patterns a child could understand. It also almost seems that your subject are child like. I wonder if its because your a teacher?? I have not had a one man exhibition since 1998 or 97. I have had several goup exhibitions I 2005 and already 2006. I think watching and reading your blog has inspired me to push for a one man exhibition. Also recently the local newspaper published an article on my artwork and life as a painter. I will continue to visit your blog. I do apologize for taking so long from the last time I wrote to you. You know how it is the busy life of the artist......
